Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
At Dry Waves Surfskate School, we aim to ensure that our customers are satisfied with both our products and services. This policy sets out the conditions under which refunds, returns, and cancellations are accepted.
By completing a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms below.
Returns of Products
Customers have the right to request a return within 14 days from the date of delivery, without the need to provide a reason.
To be eligible for a return, products must be unused, complete, and in the same condition as received, with the original packaging intact.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs in all situations.
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, a refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 days, using the same payment method as the original purchase.
Items returned that show signs of misuse, damage, or missing parts not due to our error may be refused or granted only a partial refund.
Only regular-priced items are refundable. Items purchased on sale or promotion are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a product for the same item, please contact us at info@drywaves.pt before shipping your item back.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned:
Gift cards
Digital/downloadable products
Health and personal care items (e.g., protective gear once opened for hygiene reasons)
Shipping Returns
To return your product, please send it to the address provided upon contacting us at info@drywaves.pt.
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to returns.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from the refund amount.
Depending on your location, delivery time for exchanged products may vary.
For higher-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
Services – Surfskate Lessons
Booked lessons may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled date, with the right to either a refund or rescheduling.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are not eligible for a refund.
Lessons are always subject to availability.
Refunds
Once your return or service cancellation is approved, refunds will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within 14 days.
If you haven’t received your refund after this period, please first check your bank account, then contact your card provider. If you still experience issues, contact us at info@drywaves.pt.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
If the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to present to you later, the refund will be sent to the gift giver.
